"Even if you come through a procedure without any trouble, you cannot anticipate how you feel or how much you are truly up for. If you go home you will instinctively feel the urge to do more than you should; husband, kids, pets, ringing phone, etc. It’s best to go to a place for at least one day where you have “nothing” to do but recover.
It’s imperative to getting a good result from your procedure."
"Family and friends, even with the best intentions, usually have no idea what to expect and can often be unprepared for what they see when you come home and we do not want to upset the kids by how we look."
"Plastic surgery is an expensive venture, but having gone through it myself, I would encourage anyone to look at 1 – 2 days in post op care as part of the package. If it means taking a little more time to save up in order to include it, do it! You will absolutely not regret it. For me, it was the 2nd smartest thing I did – the 1st being picking the most qualified surgeon for my needs."
